Historical Notes
Duchesse Olga most likely refers to Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna of Russia (1822-1892), later Queen Olga of Württemberg, who was a member of the Russian imperial family. She was the second daughter of Nicholas I of Russia and Charlotte of Prussia. Before marrying Charles I of Württemberg in 1846, she was considered to be one of the most eligible princesses in Europe.
