Historical Notes

Duchesse Olga most likely refers to Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna of Russia (1822-1892), later Queen Olga of Württemberg, who was a member of the Russian imperial family. She was the second daughter of Nicholas I of Russia and Charlotte of Prussia.
